I genuinely cannot remember the last time I wrote a “go visit Xur” article for Destiny 2, but the man(?) has gone wild this week with some offerings that really cannot be missed, including one ultra-rare, max exotic, something you may only see a handful of times in years of playing.
Xur is currently in the hangar, chilling by himself with Saint and no one else since Amanda Holliday and Cayde-6 died. Here are the items you need to check out that he’s selling this week:
Actium War Rig (Titan Chest) – 71 total stats, 11 resilience, 23 recovery, 20 strength – A perfect 71, the absolute max for an exotic. And with decent distribution too. Strength isn’t great as it could be discipline but hey, you take what you can get, and this is an extremely worthwhile pickup, as Actium pairs great with a lot of stuff these days. Including the SUROS he’s currently selling, I suppose.
Contraverse Hold (Warlock Gloves) – 67 total stats, 22 resilience, 12 recovery, 17 discipline – Less stats but an even better distribution and probably a more useful exotic overall, despite a rollercoaster of nerfs and buffs.
Tripwire Canary (Arc Bow) – (Rapid Hit, Frenzy) It’s a Lightweight Bow, recently buffed, and it has essentially every possible perk to upgrade its draw time, handling and reload speed, making it as snappy as you can imagine, including a draw time masterwork. Yes, you could craft the Season of Seraph exotic making it perfect with these perks if you want, but that’s could, past-tense, as if you missed that chance, this is your best bet to pick up a great version of the weapon with buffs in tow.
Righteous Armor (Titans) – Want some good distributions on legendary armor? We have, 28 recov, 15 disc arms, 24 recov, 20 disc chest, 19 mob, 28 disc helmet. Go throw more grenades, Titans.
So yeah, it’s a quality selection this week, and I would grab a handful of this stuff while you can. It’s rare to get a Xur with anything significant to talk about these days, so don’t waste the chance.
